You betcha Michelle – we’ll just be down by Shoreline Community College!
Here’s another spin on it that I’ve heard: “I left a square and came back a circle, but my wife and family still relate to me like I’m a square.” Change takes time, sometimes the transformation is quick, sometimes it happens over a long period of time and you can’t see it unless you stand way back and look at how far you’ve come. The point is that God’s timing is always better than our own. I pray the fruit of the Spirit, patience and faithfulness (perseverance) in the face of the transformations the Lord is taking us through. Thank you Lord that you love us so much as to not leave us the way we were.
I will definitely be praying for this weekend, and for you cuz. Thanks for posting the video of Dustin, it really did minister to me today and I can’t wait to podcast the sermon. I heard it was a good one!
Reading what you are sharing comforts my soul and sheds a tear from eye from your compassion. I love you Pastor Jon and family.
Lord, please take care of your beloved Melissa. Rid her body of this Lyme disease, build up her antibodies, eliminate all allergic reactions, ensure her safety at all times, and restore her to perfect health for the glory of Your Name. In Jesus Name, amen.
This gets me really excited for tonight’s service and Easter services!
I am going into Easter weekend with great expectation, which seems to be our word for 2012.
I read a definition of Redemption this week that is becoming my prayer for this weekend: Redemption is rescuing and reclaiming one apart or adrift. God gives new life in abundance where only death and emptiness are expected. So my prayer is to be used in the rescuing and reclaiming miracle that God will perform this weekend, to bring life where death and emptiness is expected.
I am stoked about our new Saturday night services! I love that we get to eat together first. Looking forward to our first one in just 2 weeks!
SAVE SOMEONE’S LIFE IN ONE EASY STEP!

Someone told me about New Hope about 5 years ago when I was going through a very dark and painful time in my life. I was pretty much as low as you can go. Coming to New Hope and feeling the love of God through such welcoming people was definitely a God send. It was exactly what I needed. A place where I would not be judged, but just loved.
So many people need that in their life, and as you know New Hope is a place that is not like other churches, it is a place that is loving not condeming.
Throughout my experience here at New Hope, I am every day learning more about God and His incredibly love and learning to trust in EVERYTHING he does. This concept has changed my life. He has led me through many a painful time including the passing of my best friend and mother. Something I never thought I would surive, but I am surviving because of God’s love, comfort and grace.
I still struggle with depression which you will see me post prayers requests about, but with your love and prayers…God has helped me survive.
Lets help others get through their hard times by telling them about New Hope, and letting them experience God’s love for themselves.
It really will save a life. It saved mine…really.
Please post about the Easter service on Facebook. Just follow Pastor Jon’s instructions above.
Let me know if you need help, and I will help you.
In God’s Love,
Kristen
AMEN.

Shouting!!
I am fully on board and this confirms my prayers and sharing on the city with Mariam last night that in 1995, God spoke through others to let me know my baby was perfectly fine. This confirms God us bigger and is not done with us until his plan is fully. That is the peace we can have.
